Apostle of God: one sent out by God
Docile: submissive; ready to accept control or instruction A message to the Apostles of God who need that final push to go when God says go. Jesus said even He was not a prophet with honor in His hometown. Too many people too close to the perfect flesh of Jesus (His carpentry skills, how He took His eggs and coffee, how He scratched His chin in that way when He was thinking, etc) to see, hear or accept the Business of God in Him. People who loved Jesus (including His mother Mary, if you can believe it) who struggled thinking He should not say THAT in public in THAT way even though they were the very Words God had sent Jesus to say. He found not wanting one of His to get away meant sometimes leaving the 99 who would stay. It never made sense why He'd leave a familiar nest to fly skies that may not offer Him rest. Or why Jesus would call His brother His mother as she stood outside the door waiting to speak to Him. He just knew when the wind blows, you gotta blow (this popsicle stand) too. Another one to relate, Paul was warned by those he loved "please, don't go that way!" So Paul knew he had to follow the Way to Rome. Apostles have no death wish but a wish to see everyone brought to the Living Tree. What seems pointless, worthless and maybe even foolish to some is the very Wisdom God is beckoning you to pursue. Even if protesting in your family and friends ensues when the departure date comes due. A child hearing God will know His Business and Voice must be the Route that he must take through. And take the message to vessels and pots who are waiting and ready to hear and accept a friendly stranger's brew (not witchcraft, mind you...but a tall Drink of Water from the Living Water's Crew). What can you do to support an Apostle of God ready to stand on his feet (or fly on Eagle's wings)? Love and pray for Godspeed for a mission complete so we can hurry up and all sit down at the blessed feast and put up our feet. If God instructs you to lend your hand or your donkey, be ready to do that too. For an ox must not be muzzled as he treads out the grain and a worker deserves his wage. For even the sojourner has an inheritance among you as they do the Father's Work beside you. And if one of these Apostles come through your land, don't be offended that God sent you His Helping Hand. See it as a blessing that God wants to offer a respite and a refreshing to you. If ever you feel envious of an Apostle's feet, you must understand the prison cells they have had to walk through (Isaiah 61) to know how to set the prisoners' free. Each was once a prisoner too and you might be surprised at how well they can relate to you.
